Our heart transplant center is one of the largest  in the country and we’ve successfully treated more than 250 children, giving them new, healthy hearts. We understand that a heart transplant may seem like an overwhelming option, which is why we support your family before, during and after surgery so you know what to expect.

• Cutting-edge therapies, including biventricular pacing that helps a child’s heart beat in a more balanced way.

• Mechanical pumps or ventricular assist devices (VADs) to help your child’s heart recover or stay healthy before surgery. As the only pediatric Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Program  in North Texas, we offer a comprehensive range of mechanical devices.
